Blocked messages add strike points. Defaults: 3 points → timeout, 14 → kick, 20 → ban, with points expiring after 30 days. Edit all of this in /settings.
Custom ladders
Set a step to 0 to skip it, or zero all three if you want Sift to only delete and log while humans pick punishments.
Rejoin after timeout
Leaving the server does not clear an active timeout — Sift reapplies it when they rejoin so evasion does not reset the clock.

Review cases do not add strikes until a mod chooses an action. Instant blocks and smart-check blocks at action threshold do.
